Baroque Soleil

Hi Nailiens,

I don't know what to say about these nails... I just wanted to try out the new stamping plate BP-X01 (item 29974)* from a set of 5 stamping plates* by BornPrettyStore.
Since this stamping plate has baroque patterns on it, it is a perfect match with C03 "Soleil à Solitude" from the "Rock-o-co" LE by CATRICE. 

I started out with two thick layers of "Soleil à Solitude". "Soleil à Solitude" is hard to apply because it dries matte and the ball handle doesn't make it easier... Originally I wanted to stamp the design on in white but there was not enough contrast to the based color. So the stamping is done in a sheer black (DIY).

Unfortunately, the designs on the stamping plate aren't long enough for my nails, so that I tried to match the pattern up but it wasn't perfect... The solution for this incident? Fat silver striping tape! This one comes in a set of 3 different sized ones, it is from BornPrettyStore, it's item 22319.

Just the striping tape on there looked a bit empty that I stuck on some metal square studs from a wheel (item 21238 by BornPrettyStore).
